Produced with exclusive access to Elton John’s personal archive, the film combined intimate interview material, music history, contemporary actuality and cinematic visual storytelling to examine how gold became intertwined with both his creative expression and personal life. The documentary also explored gold’s lesser-known role in science and medicine, connecting the wider themes of the film to causes closely associated with Elton John and his charitable work.

As Series Producer, I led the international production team and helped shape the editorial and visual approach of the film.

The finished film reached a global online audience of more than 26 million views after just 8 months.
